This course is aimed at current and newly appointed Shipping Inspectors who are undertaking speed limit enforcement on Queensland waters. 

It is designed to enhance knowledge and develop a set of skills that will assist the Inspector throughout the whole compliance process:- detection of a speed related offence, issuing a Marine Infringement Notice, gathering and the recording of evidence through to the successful prosecution of a ship’s master if the notice is contested.
