This is about empowering people by respecting and appreciating what makes them different in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, education and national origin.

People Living with Disability

Living with a disability refers to individuals with physical, sensory, cognitive, or mental health impairments that affect daily life and require adaptive strategies for inclusion.

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse

The acronym CALD is a broad term used to describe communities with diverse languages, ethnic backgrounds, nationalities, traditions, societal structures and religions.

LGBTIQ+

A collective term used for Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer known as the rainbow community.

First Nation's People

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the first peoples of Australia. Australia is made up of many different and distinct Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups, each with their own culture, language, beliefs and practices.

Gender Equity

Gender equity means equal outcomes for women, men and gender-diverse people.
