Introduction to Workplace Mental Health and Psychosocial Factors (for non-people leaders)



This interactive workshop empowers participants to recognise and address psychosocial hazards in the workplace, fostering a culture of mental well-being and safety. Through practical discussions and case studies, attendees will explore what constitutes a mentally healthy workplace, understand the types and causes of psychosocial hazards, and learn how to identify and report them effectively. 

The session also highlights strategies for promoting personal well-being, supporting colleagues, and considering factors that may put some workers at greater risk as well as provides an opportunity to reflect on how individual and organisational values shape our approach to creating healthier work environments.

This 1.5-hour workshop, with interactive activities and group discussions is available to be delivered in both in-person and virtual (Teams) formats.
