First Nations Cultural Confidence Training - John Briggs Consultancy

The First Nations Cultural Confidence workshop will explore the Australian history of exclusion and inclusion of our Indigenous communities – focusing on where we are today and where we are heading – in a culturally safe, blame and victimisation free environment. The training is centred around your journey of discovery and provides an opportunity to explore and discuss Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and communities in a way that enables us all to learn and grow together.

The session will cover key topics such as:

• Uncovering the idea behind ‘exclusion to inclusion’

• Deconstructing unconscious bias

• Building an understanding about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander strategies

• Actions we can take.
