About this course
This training will provide an overview of how customers will soon be able to use new contactless payment options on the recently installed Smart Ticketing equipment on Brisbane City Council ferries for adult fares. It costs the same as using a go card.
Upon completion of this module, you should be able to:
- explain Smart Ticketing from a customer point of view after watching a short video showing ‘A Day In The Life Of Smart Ticketing’
- share Smart Ticketing updates to crew
- recognise new on-board validator (OBV) and on-board console (OBC) messages
- conduct tamper checks on OBVs
- safely position the OBC and printer
- equip crews with messaging and communication materials to help with customer enquiries; and
- answer customers’ most frequently asked questions.
