The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is committed to creating opportunities for Indigenous businesses and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to participate in the Queensland economy through well-considered procurement strategies. 

In this course, you will be introduced to key themes, principles and tools that will enable you to leverage the Queensland Procurement Policy (QPP) and the Queensland Indigenous Procurement Policy (QIPP). 

By the end of this course:

• You should be able to recognise and comply with formal and informal guidelines for procuring services from Indigenous businesses and individuals in Queensland
• You should be better equipped to make informed procurement decisions when spending state funds.
