TMR recruits many employees annually. Often, the candidates that are part of these processes will be known to the hiring manager which may result in a Conflict of Interest (CoI). There are several essential recruitment practices that can help to make each recruitment process open and transparent. These include:
- inclusion and diversity;
- unconscious bias;
- conflict of interest and declaration of professional relationships;
- the merit principle;
- ethical decision making and roles and responsibilities.
This program will ensure panel members and delegates of TMR are aware of their responsibilities relating to recruitment and selection processes.
