Burnout, Fatigue and Self-Care

This is a 50 minute facilitated session with 10 minutes for self-reflection.

Individuals who cope well, are committed and motivated to undertake self-care and have a high level of self-awareness. Individuals who are most protected have adequate coping strategies in place to boost resilience, alleviate stress and deal with “big emotions”. If stress is not identified, and not effectively resolved, it can become cumulative, building more and more until we reach a point of physical, emotional and mental exhaustion, also known as ‘burnout’.

This session aims to provide participants with an understanding of what stress does to our minds and bodies. How unmanaged stress may present in our lives, as well as practical strategies on how to manage stress and anxiety in our work and personal lives.
