The FND Mandatory Refresher Training course has been established to refresh all employees within the Far North District, for the Department Transport and Main Roads on key mandatory requirements that as a TMR employee plays a part in the creation of a single integrated transport network and meeting of our key values.
This training will have short bursts of key topics for all TMR employees to become familiar or refamiliarise. It is the aim of this training program to refresh all participants in the key components of mandatory training including the code of conduct; conflict of interest; performance excellence; workplace health and safety; essential human resource management and practices; finance and CATS; using government vehicles; customer and stakeholder engagement among others.
Included also will be several new and interesting key topics and presenters that will provide training in the fields of Project Management Controls, Corridor Management, Land Resumptions, Technical Services and the Registered Professional Engineering Qualifications (RPEQ)
It is anticipated this mandatory training session will be both informative and interactive and will provide participants with the ability to actively apply their learning to their everyday working environments
