About this course

Driving Examiners play a vital role in determining whether an applicant possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to safely use the road system. They need to follow specific policy and procedures outlined in the Q-SAFE Manual in order to effectively and safely conduct driving assessments.

The DELTA course is a combination of online courses, workbooks and practical on-road activities that will equip new DEs to successfully complete their role.

This online module includes information and activities on appropriate test wording and when to use it.

If you are a new Driving Examiner or are an existing Customer Service Officer and have been nominated by your manager or Principal Advisor (Driver Assessment) to be a Cross Trained Driving Examiner.
